    Hi All

I have broken one of the cockpit locker hinges on my ’84 NC43 and looking into options to replace it. I have tried welding it and it lasted a few months before it broke again. The casting is sadly not great quality so welding isn ‘t really an options. I have searched for a replacement but most options are made in stainless and smaller. I have emailed Nauticat in Latvia in case they have a dusty shelf full of hinges but I am not holding my breath.

Before I probably end up either getting something fabricated or repolacing all the hinges so they match, does anyone have any other ideas?

    Best wishes Piers

    Hi Piers.
All the old bankrupt Nauticat stock was bought and is sold by Nautikulma in Finland. These are family members of the original owner I believe.
You need to open website on a home computer as hard to navigate on smart devices but can be done.

    https://www.nautikulma.fi/en_GB

Find the part then email them if outside Finland and they will arrange paperwork and delivery. Very helpful people. They may want a few pictures to help identify the right part of not on the website.
I’m sure they will get you the part. It took them a few months but they got me an original cupboard door for my 44 given time.

    Hope this helps
