For all N33 owners – what hp have you got as I am just about to install one. Will a 55kgf be enough?

55kgf: adequate in calm sea & not too much wind, so OK for in a marina. But underpowered in any sea & wind. I wish I’d gone one bigger. If you have a choice, go for a 6-blade prop: quieter than fewer blades.

Thanks for that. I can opt for a bigger unit. What make and model is yours?

Are you the long keel version or the fin and skeg?

Long keel, so more resistance to turning

My 331 has an 80 kg Sidepower unit that has twin props. Very adequate in all conditions.
