    Hi All

I’ve recently had a lot of bad luck and now require the Yanmar 4LH-HTE to be removed for a re-build (or replacement). I noticed a hatch on the deck which looks to be made for engine removal however I’ve not tried this before. The internal ceiling would also need removing along with the mainsheet track (I’m guessing??).
Has anyone had experience doing this or am I flying blind?
    Many thanks

    Hi
Are you on water or hauled out?

For information this hatch on top of the coach house does not assist with removing the engine. It only provides access to the cavity into which the sliding lid to the companionway goes.
